Types of credit card available in the UKThere are several different types of credit card available to apply for in the UK. There are those which have no annual fee (and of course those with an annual fee) Some have an introductory rate on purchases - Cash back schemes - there are several cards which offer you cash back when you spend money on the card - see Cash back credit cards if you're interested in more of these, or use the card finder to the right. Loyalty reward schemes - these involve other incentives or options for money off items. This includes stuff like nectar points, Deciding which is the best card for you depends entirely on your circumstances - if you always pay off the balance then a card which gives you cash back would work well for you. If however you don't pay off the full balance every month then it probably is better to look for a lowest interest rate card.
